Limeburners Camping, Newbridge, Billingshurst, West Sussex

Limeburners campsite is set behind an attractive old inn which dates from the late 16th century. The inn was once three thatched cottages housing families whose men folk worked the lime kilns. Remains of which were found adjoining the stables.

Limeburners is a quiet and small camping & caravan site. Established 50 years ago it is still run by the Sawyer family today.

Situated just one and a half miles from Billingshurst Village centre with its banks, shops and supermarket an easy walk away but the campsite remains far enough out to be peaceful and quiet.

Set in 2.75 acres, the flat all grass site is bordered only by other fields and is within easy reach of the Arun water way with the south coast resorts of Bognor, Littlehampton, Worthing and Brighton only a short drive away.

The 40 pitch site has all the expected amenities including Toilets, showers, waste disposal, gas sales, hot and cold water and electric hook ups.

As would be expected, Tents, Caravans, Trailer Tents & Motor Vans are welcomed as are children and dogs. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
