Acorn Camping & Caravan Site, Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan
Acorn Camping & Caravan Site is situated in Llantwitt Major in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. The site offers excellent Camping and Caravanning facilities and welcomes tourers (tents & caravans) as well as those people looking to hire holiday caravans. With easy access to the facilities of Cardiff and South Wales in general, Acorn Camping and caravan Site is ideally placed to be your base for a camping holiday in South Wales UK.
Acorn Camping & Caravan site has great facilities for your family holiday and is near to the beach and other attractions.
The four and a half acre site is the holder of a David Bellamy Silver Award for conservation. Surrounded by farmland, all the pitches are individually marked, some with trees and hedgerows providing extra privacy and shelter.
On site we have a modern amenity building with free hot showers, baby-changing room, facilities for wheelchair users, dishwashing and laundry area.
A range of camping and Calor gas is available so do not worry if you run out. The owners live on the park to ensure the smooth running of the site and a public telephone is available 24 hours. As a family site we ask for quite between 11pm and 7am and no loud radios, this ensures that everybody can have a peaceful holiday.
To amuse your children there is a free trampoline and adventure play area. Whilst your children are occupied why not take a leisurely stroll round our shop which sells groceries, camping accessories and souvenirs. Then visit our takeaway, sit-down and unwind with a cappuccino, a toasty and one of our cakes, all baked fresh on the premises.
Our game's room is open until 11pm; it contains pool tables, football and table tennis. A separate room accommodates a full size snooker table.
Everything you need to make your stay a pleasant relaxing one.

Skegness Water Leisure Park, Skegness, Lincolnshire
Set in 185 acres of tranquil landscaped countryside, Skegness Water Leisure Park is just 5 minutes walk from the quieter northern golden beaches of Skegness.
The location is ideally situated for the great attractions of both Skegness and Ingoldmells resorts. Visitors will not only enjoy our on-park facilities such as our Barn Inn, childrens play area, licensed coffee shop, Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway, Cable Tow water-skiing, 5 acre fishing lake, on-park fishing tackle shop but will also enjoy the close proximity of the global entertainment and exciting facilities available throughout the Lincolnshire coast.
Touring Caravan Short Stay : Pitches are available adjacent to both the Cable Ski Lake and fishing lake, or in several other landscaped locations. Please request your preferred location when reserving. Electric hook-ups will need to be reserved at least one month prior to your intended date of arrival. We regret that if an electric hook-up is require our minimum reservation period is 2 nights (3 nights over Bank Holidays).
Camping : Skegness Water Leisure Park is an excellent venue for economical camping holiday breaks. Please remember that this is primarily a "family" park. Unfortunately we have to charge a different rate, in order to account for extra night-time staff and management costs. However we realise that the vast majority only wish to have a good law abiding inexpensive holiday similar to other visitors. We regret that we are unable to provide electric hook-ups for young couples. We regret that we are unable to accept single-sex parties of 3 or more persons.
