Church Stile Farm Holiday Park, Wasdale, Cumbria

Church Stile Farm Holiday Park is a family business in the pretty Lake District village of Nether Wasdale in the western Lakes. Surrounded by magnificent scenery, the camping area is set in a woodland clearing with views onto the Screes mountain range.

The park is well placed for walking, climbing or just enjoying the beautiful unspoiled Wastwater, the deepest lake in England, and the awesome Scafell Pike and spectacular Great Gable mountains.

We are a fully equipped camping site with all the modern amenities you would expect from a well kept camping ground including full disabled access throughout the shower block. Low level lighting around the site makes the grounds safer to use during the hours of darkness. Ample dustbins help keep the site tidy:

There is also a children's play area, a separate flat grassed area for football and other ball games. The site office can provide local information.

The Lake District has a variety of camp sites but Church Stile Holiday park is ideal for getting away and enjoying the serenity of the Cumbrian countryside. Located near to the foot of Wasdale valley and the village of Gosforth, Church Stile camp site is situated in the Western Lake District near to Wast Water (the lake) and some of the most dramatic and stunning scenery in the UK.

Wasdale valley is in the Western Lake District yet near to the West coast of Cumbria giving a huge variety of activities and events for everyone. The village of Nether Wasdale has three Country inns offering a warm welcome to campers. There are excellent varied menus, real ale and beer gradens. Children are also catered for. Tea, coffee and cold drinks are available throughout the day.
