A small, approximately 1 acre, private site for campers, caravanners, and motorhomes nestling in the foot hills of the Peak District.

The campsite is located behind The Wild Boar Inn. Turning off the main A54 and passing through the pub car park you enter a second car park (allocated for hard standing pitches) through which the camping field is accessed via a gate.

The camping field itself occupies a raised position and offers panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. The field is bordered by secure fencing beyond which is lush meadow farm land.

Tents can be pitched informally around the camping field.

The toilet block comprises 2 individual private shower rooms. There is also a communal washroom comprising 3 wash basins, mirrors, and 3 toilet cubicles.

Other facilities include a water point, dishwashing area , waste discharge point and picnic benches.

Fires are not allowed but raised BBQ's welcome thereby protecting the grass from unsightly burn marks.

Rates : £6 to £7 per person. Card deposit taken on all bookings.
Open all year round.
Groups are allowed by arrangement. No campfires.
