Pleasantly situated close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and one mile from the Brontë village Haworth and the Worth Valley steam railway, with panoramic views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. Upwood Holiday Park is licensed for touring caravans, tents, motor caravans, static holiday caravans and residential homes, electric hook-ups, seasonal pitches and storage are available for tourers. A selection of new and used holiday caravans and residential units are for sale and hire. Access Statement : At Upwood we are committed to making our products and services as accessible as possible. We are doing this by taking a long term approach to the changes we are making on a regular basis. Please find below some bullet points to allow you to make an educated choice. Public transport is available from the Park entrance on a regular daily basis to all surrounding towns and villages. All specific pitches have parking next to the units (most are grass). The Park is gently sloping in nature, tarmac roads with occasional speed bumps give access to most areas. The surrounding countryside is of an open aspect, with rolling hills and uneven footpaths all around. There are no large steps into the Reception/Club House/toilet/shower blocks. All buildings are of single floor construction. Reception/Clubhouse area has as allocated parking bay for badge holders. Accessible showers and toilets can be found in the main toilet block. Assistance dogs are very welcome. All staff have attended the Welcome Host course and will be only to happy to assist should the need arise. For any specific requirments, please ring to confirm before booking/arrival. Mobile phone network is available. The Park has both caravan holiday homes and touring pitches. We have 10 Static Caravans for hire all of which are fully appointed, the remaining 18 caravans are privatley owned. All are kept to a very high standard. The park is very quiet and peaceful and we pride ourselves in the warm and friendly environment that we have created. We are open all year and are very accessible for Leeds (8miles) and just 4 miles from the bustling Market Town of Wetherby and 3 miles from Harewood House, the Yorkshire home of the Queens cousin. Nearby Attractions : Golf courses abound in our area, the nearest Municiple course being just 2 miles away. Elland Hall Farm is a small, family- run caravan park, in a quiet and peaceful setting. The site has an open and sunny aspect and the pitches are lawned grass, within a beautifully landscaped surround. There is space for up to 10 touring vans, and tents are also welcome. . Toilets and showers are available to all caravanners and campers (although unfortunately these are not wheelchair accessible). The site is kept secure by key card access. We regret that pets are not permitted. The site is easily accessible, being only 2 miles from the M62, junction 24, and well-situated for visiting the many places of interest in the surrounding area. If you fancy a break from the car, there are public transport links nearby. Within an hour’s drive, you could be in the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District, Bronte Country, or "Summer Wine" Country, or, if retail therapy is what you want, the vibrant city of Leeds is nearby. Manchester too is within easy reach, for shopping, theatre or a visit to the Lowry Centre, the Museum of Science and Industry. Elland Hall is in the Calder Valley, which boasts excellent countryside for walking and cycling, as well as attractions such as the splendid Piece Hall and the Eureka Children’s Museum in Halifax. The small, thriving town of Hebden Bridge is well worth a visit, with it’s interesting hillside houses and the restored Rochdale Canal.
