Springwater Lakes, Harford, Near Lampeter, Carmarthenshire

Set in 20 acres of the beautiful South West Wales countryside, overlooked by the Cambrian Mountains and 4 miles east of Lampeter, you will find Springwater Lakes.
A picturesque angling complex of 4 lakes: 1 specimen, 2 mixed coarse and 1 fly, with a 4 star, 30 pitch touring site for caravans and camping. All lakes have easy access for the disabled angler.
We are centrally situated to the rivers Towy, Cothi and Teifi, which are some of the best salmon and sea-trout rivers in Wales, on which day tickets can be arranged.
On site the caravan and camping pitches have electric hook-up, T.V. reception, and there are immaculate toilets and showers. It’s a nice level site with well spaced pitches plus hard standings available making it an ideal venue for motorhomes. All pitches are within 50 yards of the lakes.
The Coarse Lake is approximately 3 acres with depths of 3-8 feet with a good mix of Carp, large Tench and Bream, Roach, Rudd, Golden Orfe and Perch. All fishing techniques and baits work well and with plentiful stock of Roach and Rudd providing instant sport, make it an ideal place for the experienced and novice angler alike.
The Specimen Lake is approximately 3 acres with depths 3-12 feet, well stocked with Mirror and Common Carp weighing 10-30 lbs plus. This mature lake with its irregular shape and many features including 2 islands, plus stock of large fish, will have great appeal to the specimen angler.
Fly Lake is for fly fishing only, well stocked with quality hard fighting Brown and Rainbows up to 8 lbs. It has an abundance of fly life from Buzzer to Damsels with an incredible amount of Alder fly in May resulting in some exciting dry fly sport. Small White Lures representing the Rudd Fry which are in abundance also work well.
