The Three Magpies Public House, Seend, Near Melksham, Wiltshire

The Three Magpies is an attractive country Inn located equi-distant between Melksham and Devizes on the A365.

We are open every day, serving food at both lunchtimes and evenings. We are family orientated, with excellent menus for both children and adults, where quality and value for money is foremost. The beer garden is large and beautifully maintained, this in turn overlooks the children's play area.

The actual building is believed to have been built in the 1800's formally known as the "New Inn". The Publicans were then three sisters, and due to their continual "chattering" The Inn adopted its present name of "The Three Magpies".

Only 400yds from the Inn is the Avon & Kennet Canal, offering lovely walks and/or cycling on the tow paths. The whole length is now navigatable, and there is the annual canoe race.

Adjoining the Inn is the touring caravan park with all mod. cons, including 10 electrical hook ups. The Inn is set in the beautiful Wiltshire country side, yet within easy reach of Bath (Queen's City) Salisbury, Lord Bath's Longleat Estate and Safari Park. The marvellous Cheddar Gorge is only three quarters of an hour drive from the Inn and on the way you will pass the famous "Westbury White Horse" carved in the chalky Wiltshire Downs.
