Opposite one of Kent’s finest sandy beaches, Romney Sands is in an area surrounded by the mysterious Romney Marshes, past haunt of smugglers. Take a trip along the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Miniature Railway and enjoy the coastal views. The Park even has its very own station!
Enjoy a game of tennis, join the action on the Sports Court, or take a dip in the indoor pool. The choice is yours. Kids will be happy in Sparky’s Krew Club with Parachute Games, Clown Academy, quizzes, games and competitions.

South of England Rare Breeds Centre. Not only rare breeds, but also big red tractor rides, pig racing, woodland adventure, play barn plus beautiful woodland walks.
Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway was built for a millionaire racing driver in the 1920s and is the smallest public steam railway in the world.
Old Dungeness Lighthouse. At the end of the railway, the lighthouse gives panoramic views – on a clear day you can see to France, but you have to climb 169 steps first!
Dungeness RSPB Reserve. Situated on a unique shingle bank, this is an important breeding ground for gulls and terns.
McArthur Glen Retail Centre for a wide range of designer shopping at affordable prices.
Ashford. Take the Eurostar for a daytrip to Paris, Lille or Brussels.
Biddenden Vineyard and Cider Works. Pick up some local wine and learn how cider is made at Kent’s oldest commercial vineyard.
Port Lympne Wild Animal Park. Set in 90 acres of beautiful parkland, you can see lowland gorillas in the Palace of the Apes, rare Black Rhino, Red Pandas, Lions, Tigers and many more animals.
Folkestone Racecourse is the only racecourse in Kent and offers both Flat and National Hunt Racing. Established in 1898 it was also the site of Queen Elizabeth I’s headquarters for her Kent army.
White Cliffs of Dover. Take a boat trip from the harbour and see the towering cliffs from the English Channel.

Follow the signs to New Romney, taking the first right past the Shell garage to the seafront. Turn right along the coast road. The Holiday Park is located next door to our own Tavern Bar.
