Situated in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders and its unrivalled walking, golf and cycling, Crossburn is great for the outdoors and puts you within just 23 miles of Edinburgh, Scotland’s cosmopolitan capital. It doesn’t matter where you come from, Crossburn is the caravan park more people go to for real enjoyment. More caravanners, more campers, more mobile home-rs. They come to our caravan park from the south of England, they come to us from mainland Europe - they come to us from around the corner in our own part of the world. And they have a habit of coming back again. What brings people to Crossburn in the first place? Very likely their first consideration: the location. We are naturally biased but most of our visitors seem to agree that there is nowhere quite like where we are: in Peebles in the heart of the Scottish Borders. Scenery? It is unmatched. Activities? We have much that will appeal. Rivers (we are thinking about the celebrated Tweed) that make for lovely walks, hills and mountains that set a more daunting walking agenda; if you like buildings with history built in, you will find the door is open to a multitiude of historic homes - and if you are in any way interested in mountain biking you will know that our part of the Scottish Borders has effectively been designated mountain bikers’ heaven. And how about our park? We designed it to be somewhere you can relax. It is not enormous but will make you feel comfortable. Trees provide interest and shade, there is no noisy on-park entertainment (no bar), and every facility you can reasonably expect, everything you need to make for a worry-free experience, is there.
