Sands Holiday Centre, Gairloch, Wester Ross

Situated on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland Sands Holiday Centre it is just a few miles from the internationally renowned Inverewe Gardens. With spectacular views across to the romantic Isle of Skye and the Outer Hebrides, Gairloch has a great deal to offer the Tourist.

The Sands Holiday Centre is a Camping and Caravanning Site with unrivalled facilities situated beside its own South West facing beach. The golden sand is unspoiled and it is a safe, gently sloping beach running into the sparkling clear water.

There are two large toilet blocks,with toilets, wash hand basins and hot showers. A third toilet block has recently been refurbished to a high standard with underfloor heating, private shower and toilet cubicles. Also we have two private rooms with toilet, shower and wash hand basin suitable for the disabled. The Laundry has three washing machines, four hot air dryers, irons and ironing boards. There are also wash tubs with hot and cold water. There are two public telephones on the site next to the shop. A small supermarket is located at the entrance to the site. This sells groceries, bread, milk, toys, books, fishing tackle, camping equipment and has an off saleslicence, Sunday Papers are sold from a paper van in the afternoon. Ice packs can be frozen on request. Calor and camping Gas is available at all reasonable hours. There are Electric Hook-up points for Caravans and tents that are spread throughout the site.

Rates : £9.00 per adult per night £4.50 per child per night. Touring caravans high season £12, low season £9, 2 man tent £8.50 to £11 touring vans are the same price as tents. Statics £315 to £460 per week depending on season.
