Bridgend Campsite, Shiskine, Isle Of Arran

This is a caravanning and camping club certificated site, family run and managed. Located at Shiskine on the western side of Arran it is comprised of both grass and hard standing pitches. It has space for 5 touring caravans/motorhomes as well as plenty of space for tents. The one acre site is gently sloping while being surrounded by forest and countryside.

Facilities include a unisex toilet block with a family sized shower room, water pipe, electric hookups and chemical disposal. Locally there are many walks in nearby forests, fishing and horse riding. Blackwaterfoot the closest village has shops, pubs and restaurants.

The site is found by following the B880 String Road from Brodick to Blackwaterfoot. 0.7 miles after the Balmichael Centre there is a forest track to the left, and the site is directly on the right.

Activites in the area include forestry paths, Kings Caves, Machrie Moor & standing stones.

Nearby attractions : Blackwaterfoot has a beach, golf club, Kinloch Hotel (leisure facilities), post office well stocked shop, newagents, gift shops, butchers, bakery & Blackwaterfoot lodge (meals).

Balmichael Centre has craft shops, cafe, golf range, adventure playground, animals and other activities.
