This is an attractive site with several pitching areas separated by sandy dunes, shrubs & roses - a splendid choice for family holidays with acres of flat golden sands and rock pools nearby. Nature lovers will enjoy the birds and wildlife around the dunes. The Millennium Commission funded Scottish Seabird Centre at North Berwick uses remote controlled cameras to view Scotland's seabirds in secret, as well as a spectacular Gannet Experience, sound and light show. Its promontory harbour location also affords exceptional views of the Bass Rock and other islands. Described as 'Edinburgh's Playground', East Lothian combines proximity to 'Auld Reekie' with charming villages of pantiled cottages and a coastline of sandy bays and rocky headlands.
