The yurt is a unique type of accommodation in Scotland offering a large open living area under canvas with a central log burning stove. Large cushions, bed mats and rugs are provided and offer a warm, inviting interior. WIGWAMS: Each wigwam is located in a quiet secluded area of the park with wonderful views of the loch. All wood, the wigwams are a great alternative to camping with the addition of some welcome home comforts such as TV, fridge, kettle and microwave. WOODLAND CABINS: Experience our new, cosy octagonal woodland log cabins in Scotland. Beautifully located with commanding views of the Ben Lawers mountain range and Loch Tay, the log cabins are well equipped with contemporary décor, wooden floors, faux leather settees, flat screen TV's with satellite, hi-fi with i-pod dock etc. The feature wood burning stove creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Nether Craig Caravan Park is situated in a quiet spacious location surrounded by farmland, near the Angus/Perthshire border in Scotland, in the heart of unspoilt countryside to the north-east of Blairgowrie, between the lowland fruit-growing region of Strathmore and the Angus glens. Well away from major roads and enjoying picturesque views of the hills, it makes an ideal base for touring, hill-walking, bird-watching, fishing, pony-trekking and golf. Whatever your interest, Nether Craig is an ideal base. Touring by car or bicycle could not be easier, with miles of open road. Ruined abbeys, castles, Pictish relics and stately homes provide material for history lovers. Fishermen can choose from loch or river, and the hill walker will always find another hill to climb and view to admire. Cruachan is a friendly, well established Caravan and Camping Park with over 45 years experience. Located 3 miles on the north side of Loch Tay: below the hills and above the forest leading to the shores of the Loch. Situated amidst acres of Scotland's most spectacular scenery, Cruachan Farm is a short drive from the scenic village of Killin and the picturesque Falls of Dochart. Killin village being centrally situated is an ideal base for touring and sightseeing around the Highlands and Central Scotland, and is very popular with climbers and hill walkers. It has a wide variety of shops, Hotels, pubs etc, also a 9-hole Golf Course, tennis, putting and bowls. Water Sports, indoor leisure and swimming pools are within a ½ hour drive of Cruachan. Our Holiday Caravans for hire are fully serviced (sleeping up to 6), they consist of 2 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin, bathroom with shower, well equipped kitchen and living area with colour TV. Duvets, pillows and blankets are supplied, you can either bring your own linen or we can supply if requested. There is also a 2-bedroom lodge for hire, next to our Restaurant with private parking facilities and garden. Electricity and gas are included in the tariff. The Camping area extends to about 4 acres, and has open or shaded woodland for pitching your tents. Picnic benches and barbeque areas are dotted around for your convenience. The site has ample space for both tents and touring caravans along with many Static Caravans available for hire. We have newly built toilet facilities with disabled access and washing facilities, shower, hair drying and shaving points. Electric hook-up points are provided for a limited number of pitches. Touring Caravan stances are either on grass or gravel, with electric hook-up and are suitable for awnings. Calor Gas and essential groceries including milk, eggs, sweets and juice are available from the Farmhouse and for the fishermen amongst you, fishing permits are available to purchase. Pets are welcome. For the more energetic, there are many woodland walks within easy distance of the site and nestling amongst the foothills of Beinn Ghlass and Ben Lawers, Cruachan will tempt the more serious walker as well. There are ample play areas for kids, and lots of walks around the park and through the forest to the Loch. Our Restaurant offers a wide range of home cooked meals including both a lunch and dinner menu and is open from March to October. We are also available for Christmas Lunches and Dinners. Braidhaugh is a friendly Holiday Park, situated on the banks of the River Earn among the scenic surroundings of Perthshire. The Park is an ideal base from which to explore Central Scotland, as well as being within walking distance of shops, restaurants, places of interest and many sporting facilities. Holiday Homes (Caravans): Our 2 bedroom Holiday Homes have an open plan lounge / dining area with satellite TV and DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen including gas cooker, fridge and microwave. The toilet / shower / bath room is en-suite to the master bedroom and most have a second toilet and wash basin. Full central heating and double glazing ensures comfort all year round in these spacious holiday homes (caravans). Dogs - Maximum 2 per holiday home. All are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. All bed linen and towels are provided. Touring Motorhomes and Caravans: Our touring park is level with hard standing pitches many of which have a grass area alongside for your deckchairs. Each pitch has an electric hook-up point and independant water and grey water drainage points. The toilet block is fully heated with free power showers, wash area, toilets, shaver points, and hand & hair dryers. We also have a separate Disabled Toilet/Shower room within the main toilet block. Another part of the same building houses laundry facilities, with a large washing machine, tumble dryer, an ironing board, iron, and sinks for dish and hand washing). The chemical disposal point is situated in a seperate area within the block. The Wigwams: Camp in comfort at Braidhaugh, in a heated timber tent which sleeps up to five people. Equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and tv. Tariffs for Wigwams cover two persons and electricity. We allow well behaved dogs in them. Open all year round. Groups are allowed by arrangement.
