Peeblesshire is an inland county and is also known as Tweeddale and it consists mainly of hills and mountains. Its lowest point is still some 400 to 500 ft above sea level! Traquair Castle can be found in this county and this is the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland and makes a fascinating visit.
