Herdwick Croft Carvan Park is a small, secluded, yet well equipped site at the Northern end of Bassenthwaite Lake, within easy reach of the best of the English Lake District.

The site has static holiday homes for hire, sleeping up to six people in comfort, or sites for your own caravan or touring vehicle. There are excellent facilities including:

- Toilets and Showers
- Electric Hook-ups
- Chemical and Waste water disposal
- Shop - selling basic supplies, sweets etc
- Launderette

The views from the site are magnificent overlooking the best of the Lakeland fells including Skiddaw and Binsey. You are surrounded by tranquil countryside and woodland areas. Bassenthwaite Lake is 50 yards from the site. Well behaved Children & Dogs are Welcome.

The site is within easy reach of Keswick on Derwentwater, Cockermouth and even Carlisle. There are superb family facilities nearby and it is an excellent area for the outdoor enthusiast.

Rates: £10 a night for 2 people, 2 man tent, £2 per person extra after that, touring £16 a night, £2 electric, £2 awning, dogs free, statics from £150-£450.
