Side Farm Camping is situated in Buttermere Village. Surrounded by mountains ans lake, this camp site is a spectacular location for exploring this beautiful area of the Lake District.

Situated just outside the village, but only a 3 minute walk to the Bridge Inn and the Fish Hotel, both excellent pubs offering good grub and excellent beer. There is also an excellent tea shop close by, and a bus stop for local transport.

For obvious scenic variety, Buttermere is one of the most appealing places in the Lakes, and it's tempting just to get your chair out and sit on the site admiring the scenery,". "So be strong, lace up those boots and get among it". The site lies on the edge of the village, where two excellent pubs offer refuelling opportunities for worn-out walkers, and it is a short walk to the lake from which this valley gets its name.
