Withernsea Sands Holiday Park, Withersea, Hull, Yorkshire, Humberside

The coastal countryside around the small town of Withernsea is hard to beat. The town contains much of interest, including the Withernsea lighthouse and museum.

From here you are well placed to visit Spurn Head, an isolated peninsula jutting out into the North Sea, and home to many seabirds. Or take a trip to Fort Paull and experience historical scenes discovered in the underground labyrinths. Also take advantage of free use of the local indoor swimming pool nearby.

Local Attractions :
Hornsea town. A pretty seaside town with a fabulous Freeport Shopping Village and over 40 designer shops.

Spurn Head. A long curving hook of shingle and sand arcing into the mouth of the River Humber.

Fort Paull. Yorkshire’s only surviving Napoleonic fort.

Withernsea. A traditional holiday resort with promenade, the famous lighthouse and museum, amusements, market and shopping.

Directions / Location : From Junction 38 on the M62 take the A63 through Hull. At the end of the dual carriageway, turn right onto the A1033 and follow signs for Withernsea. Follow the A1033 through the village and turn left at the mini roundabout onto the B1242. Then take the next right at the lighthouse and the Park is just half a mile ahead on the left.
