Our site at Bishopthorpe is ideally located just 3 miles downstream from York city center and adjacent to Bishopthorpe Palace, the home of the Archbishop of York.

When mooring with us customers have use of the toilet and shower blocks, the convienience of the many services we offer, plus the shops and pubs of Bishopthorpe close at hand. The pontoons are lit and accessable 24 hours a day and benefit from water and electricity points.

The country moorings do not have electric or water, but do represent great value for those who don't find these critical. Due to high demand, annual moorings are available to reserve. To arrange short term berths please contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to fit you in.

Your boat is kept safe in our locked compound and both annual contracts and short term moorings are available. However, whilst the short term moorings are on a first come first served basis we do currently have a waiting list for the long term berths.

The site is licensed to accept caravans, motor homes and tents. We are open from Easter to October 31st.

We are a peaceful, family oriented site and as such pets are welcome. Shops are available (approx 250 yards) for groceries, milk, eggs, newspapers etc.
