We are a family business with years of experience in catering for visitors of all ages who are looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. We offer static and touring caravan facilities and are within only a few miles from many of the local and historic attractions that Durham and Northumberland have to offer.

The static and touring caravan park here at our site close to Beamish is ten acres in size and accommodates privately owned static caravans and electric hook-ups for touring caravans, motor homes & tents.

We have a Holiday Site License for static caravans for 11 months from 1 March to 31 January and for touring caravans, motor homes & tents from 1 March to 31 October. Enjoy Durham and the surrounding Northumberland countryside and coast line experiencing the tranquility and magnificent surroundings of our caravan park here at Beamish.

Our facilities include a centrally heated amenity building with showers
(coin-operated), hair dryers, hand dryers and shaving points. There is a dish washing & vegetable preparation area, chemical disposal point and water points. There is also a launderette with a washing machine tumble dryer and iron.

On site there is a Shop / Reception area where you can purchase caravan accessories and caravan and camping gas. Ice cream, sweets & groceries are obtainable - we don't stock everything but we can always sell you a little something!

We are fortunate in Beamish to be surrounded by old world charming country pubs and at the same time modern restaurants - competitively priced to suit everyone's pocket.

Nearby are the historic cities of Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland, and travelling east to the splendid coast of South Shields, the home of authoress Catherine Cookson.

We have two very special guests : a pair of very rare Red Kites daily frequent the park and can be seen soaring sometimes as low as twelve feet.

The North East of England area boasts an abundance of attractions for young and old alike - for the adventurous or those that just like to take life at a stroll!
