Highside Farm Camping Site, Teesdale, Durham

Highside is a working smallholding in the Northern Pennines. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the farm enjoys extensive views over Lunedale and Teesdale.
we have quiet camping facilities for tents and caravans on a small site with toilets, showers, facilities for washing up and electric hook up.

As well as the familiar Swaledale sheep we keep rare breed pigs and old fashioned rare breed Teeswater sheep.

Our hens wander freely around the farm and campers can usually buy our fresh farm eggs. We can also usually provide breakfasts for campers if booked in advance

Highside Farm is well sited for walking, canoeing on the river Tees and fishing on the Tees or several local reservoirs. We are close to High Force and The Bowes Museum and less than one hour from the lake district.
