Set in forty-three acres of woodland park within the Ribble Valley, the park includes a purpose built all weather complex with heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, games room, function room, children's safe-play area, pool side patio, snack bar and fully licensed bars. The bars serve the ballroom, snooker room and pool side patio bar. A well stocked shop is also on the park.
Horse Riding, Clitheroe Golf club and Fishing are all within easy reach. Fishing the Pine Lakes and Stocks Water near Slaidburn is a particular attraction. The magnificent local scenery is ideal for ramblers either along the river or over the moors.
'Half in fairyland, half in Lancashire' is the setting of this forty-three acre country park, overlooking Pendle Hill, and at the gateway to the beautiful Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales. An area of outstanding natural beauty, with magnificent scenic views, unspoilt villages, forests and tumbling streams, can be enjoyed to the full. All the atmosphere of the English Lakes without the traffic jams!
In the forests surrounding the park there are two nature trails which people of all ages find fascinating and informative, yet relaxing, whilst for the more energetic, nearby moorland provides plenty of scope for longer walks. Fishermen may try their rods in the nearby rivers Ribble and Hodder, with licensed available in Clitheroe.
Touring caravans and tents are welcome. We have two fields which will take upto 100 tourers with 50 hard standing spaces available including electric hook-up facilities, a well stocked shop, toilet block and laundrette. We also have a separate field available for tents. We are open all year round for touring caravans so come and join us for the New Year celebrations.
The snack bar on site is now open at weekends.
There is a range of the latest holiday homes and caravans on show for sale, which will be located on the park, connected to all services.
