The Odd House, Snarestone, Swadlincote, Leicestershire

The Odd House is a family owned freehouse and restaurant serving high quality freshly prepared food at a reasonable price and offering a selection of real ales wines and spirits in a relaxing friendly environment. situated mid-way between coalville and ashby-de-la-zouch, the Inn is located in the heart of the national forest originally a 17th century coaching in, the building has maintained several character features including timber beams and a open fire in the lounge bar enhance the warm and friendly atmosphere.

We now have a camp field with a small fishing lake with 12 electric hook ups shower facilities and spaces for tents and non hook up spaces with some hard standings. The price for camping is £10 per night and £5.00 for electric the road runs all around the campsite making it easier for those raining days.

Our Restaurant:
The pub is located in the heart of the national forest and is situated mid-way between Ashby-De-La-Zouch and Coalville. Originally a 17th century coaching Inn, the building has retained several character features with timber beams and an open fire in the lounge bar enhances the warm and friendly atmosphere.

The Bar:
the bar stocks a selection of real ales lagers wines spirits and soft drinks, bar meals are served 7 nights a week plus Saturday and Sunday lunch times the menu includes freshly baked baguettes steaks ,burgers salads basket meals all served with homemade chips or potatoes and also children’s menu.

Rates : £10.00 per night £5.00 electric.
