Four (2 bedroom) and six berth (3 bedrooms) well equipped caravan holiday homes are available to hire at Forest Edge. These well presented caravans represent excellent value for money as power charges are included as is bed linen. Caravans include all the mod cons: Kitchen, shower room, lounge (colour TV) and two or three bedrooms, outdoor furniture. The cheerful staff, well stocked shop and picnic tables scattered around the site make this a good, comfortable, self sufficient site. Please note that you may experience some road noise from the A31. Both standard pitches and serviced pitches are available. The serviced pitches are on grass with access to hook up point ideal for tents, caravans and trailer tents (note: A proper camping mains kit is required, which are available from all good camping supplies, we can not accept home made kits). In comparison to our other parks the pitches are on the small side, however there is space for your car, caravan or tent and awning. Surrounded by fields and woodland, our family-run site provides an ideal base for campers and caravaners touring the area. Within a short drive is Winchester, the historic capital of England, The New Forest, Salisbury, the sandy beaches of the South Coast and the amazing monoliths at Stonehenge and Avebury. An ice pack service is run from the shop. The newly refurbished toilet block is bright and pleasant, and houses showers and toilets, hot and cold water to all wash basins, hair drier in the ladies, and shaver points in the gents. There are also separate facilities for the disabled, a family wash room and a chemical toilet disposal point. Constant attention is paid by the owners to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. The laundry provides automatic washing machines and spin and tumble driers. Ironing and baby bathing facilities are available. The laundry room is where you will find a wide range of information on local attractions and activities to help you make the most of your time at the Red Shoot. An undercover area is provided with hot water at sinks and drainers for dish-washing. You will need your own washing up bowl as sink plugs are not supplied.
