The Fauxquets Valley Campsite is owned and run by Roland and Teresa. It is centrally situated in the heart of Guernsey which makes it a great base from which to explore this beautiful island - picturesque coast, countryside, towns, villages and the other islands. Tucked into the side of the valley, away from the noise of traffic, it has well-drained, terraced areas full of colourful shrubs, flowers and trees. The site has been landscaped giving each pitch an individual area. A 20 minute walk from the site will bring you to buses and pubs serving meals. We are only 1.5 miles from sandy beaches. A friendly welcome awaits you at the Fauxquets and we will endeavour to make your holiday run smoothly. Facilities : The Haybarn restaurant / licensed bar serves sit-down and take-away meals with a weekly menu of homemade dishes. The upper Terrace is a garden for alfresco easting. Cycles may be hired from the site either daily or weekly. Heated swimming pool with sun terrace. For the younger children playground with swings, slide and climbing frame. A field is set aside with nets for games (after the hay is cut!). The iron/hair drying room is equipped with ironing boards and irons, hair dryers and mirrors. The camp shop supplies camping, calor gas and groceries. Fresh milk and bread are delivered daily. Frozen ice packs are obtainable from the shop. Use the camp ice packs, deposit hire system. A coin operated washing machine, tumble dryer, card and coin telephone are on site. Electric hookups- 20 metres of cable needed with 16 amp blue plug. The toilet block is equipped with showers, wash hand basins and washing up sinks all of which are supplied with " piping hot" water 24 hours a day at no extra charge. Hire Tents : Our fully equipped Cabanon hire tents come in two sizes, 3 persons or 5/6 persons. You can park one car beside your tent, at no extra cost and midweek bookings are accepted. The tents contain all the items you will require except sleeping bags, pillows and towels. Equipment included : Cooker/Stand, saucepans, frying pan, fridge, washing up bowl, water carrier, bread board, butter dish, cork screw, serving spoon, fire blanket, crockery/cutlery, kettle/teapot, carving/vegetable knife, salad bowl, tin opener, broom, table & chairs, ashtray, electric light, 3 pin electric socket, bucket and a measuring jug. Bedroom Compartments : Double mattress on frame. Single covered foam mattress on floor (as many as required). Wardrobe/hanging rail and coat hangers. Cot Hire: A cot, buggy or high chair may be hired at £2 per day each. We can now take Motorhomes up to 6.9 meters long. Rates : From £5.20 per adult to £6.30 per adult per night.
