We are a Harveys Pub serving traditional Sussex Ales. The Bull's Head is an unspoilt rural inn and set in the splendid Sussex countryside nearby to many great historic sites - Battle Abbey and Battlefield, Herstmonceux Castle, Pevensey Castle, Batemans... plus there are many fine walks in the neighborhood. Visit Battle Abbey, site of the Battle of Hastings, Bodiam, Hever & Leeds castles, Batemans, magnificent home of Rudyard Kipling or the world famous gardens at Sissinghurst & Great Dixter. Travel the East Sussex coastline from The Seven Sisters Country Park near Eastbourne to the ancient Cinque Ports of Rye & Winchelsea. Locally there are plenty of pretty, tucked away villages with traditional country pubs to discover. The nearest are in Burwash. For a good range of shops the nearby village of Wadhurst is just 10 minutes drive while a little further is Tunbridge Wells (Pantiles & Roman Baths). We are situated in a quiet rural location in a beautiful valley on a working arable farm of 300 acres. The campsite is a large field very secluded with a small wood at the back where a couple of swings for children overlook bluebells and fields beyond. We are currently building a loo and shower block, with a washing machine and internet use in a large barn at the top of the field. We also have a large barn that is tented inside which can be hired out for party's. It would hold 100 people. I have also started offering Tipi's as they look fantastic you can have a fire inside and will sleep up to 8 people. We are a small campsite which is never very busy, plenty of room between each tent and you can have your campfire next to your tent. This season we are offering food hampers with deliciously local seasonal produce from our local farm shop which offers rare and native breeds, giving you the best tasting and award winning free range meat and game in the south east. BBQ hampers and Breakfast hampers. We can also cater to any event or party. Fishing and Clay pigeon also available Rates: Ł10.00 PPN (adult) - Ł5.00 For Children. Groups are allowed.

Caroline and Chris welcome you to their friendly campsite. As experienced campers themselves, they understand your needs and will make every effort to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Brackendale Farm is situated in a quiet location but within easy reach of the local amenities. The Village of Catsfield with its well stocked Village Shop and Post Office and The White Hart Pub is within easy walking distance. The 4 acre site is part level, part gently sloping and is well screened by trees and hedges on all sides. There is an area of woodland where dogs can be exercised. The site caters for touring caravans, motor caravans and tents and has mains water, electric hook ups (by prior arrangement) and a chemical disposal point. Within walking distance or a few minutes drive from the campsite is Catsfield village Post Office stores which carries an excellent stock of groceries, newspapers etc. The site now also has hot and cold showers, toilets and washing facilities for those who do not have their own. An excellent family run park situated on a manor estate, perfect for touring East Sussex and the garden of England. Established now for 23 years, we now have our superb new toilet block with underfloor heating, large showers, private wash cubicles and a carefully designed and fully equipped disabled room. Our first field now offers level pitches throughout, all with 16 amp hook-ups, and including 20 hardstandings, a motorhome service point and Wifi coverage across the park. Our second field offers grass pitches with 10 amp and an area for customers who want to get back to real camping! For our younger visitors, there is a play area; and on the manor estate, you will find fishing, horse-riding, the Lakeside Cafe, and peaceful walks through the woods. Local buses serve all major towns in the area or you can bring your bike and explore the countryside on the Cuckoo Trail, (2 minutes from the park.) The village of Horam is nearby with a full range of shops and, of course, the local pub. Pitch prices: Ł18.50 - Ł24.95 and cover a caravan/tent/motorhome, an awning, a motor vehicle, up to 2 adults and up to 2 children (under 18). An over 65's concession of Ł14.25 for a pitch without electric and Ł17.50 with electricity is also offered all week, this offer is not valid July & August or any Bank Holiday.

Hi! We are Andy & Ulenah and we're in the process of creating a tranquil, friendly camp site in the heart of 1066 country - a true rural retreat with a touch of luxury. Chestnut Meadow is a family run campsite borne from a love of camping and a long held dream of ours to establish our own site and set it up with all the best things we can feasibly manage. We've been camping for over 20 years and saw the need for a family friendly, fun camp site, developed from a campers point of view with a truly welcoming atmosphere. Camping is not just our business, it’s what we love doing, come on over and meet the team: Stephen, Ulenah's brother, is our grounds man, conservation expert, mechanic and general Mr Fix everything. An over mature student, he’s qualified in woodland management, conservation, welding, vehicle mechanics and woodcraft (and probably a load more that I've forgotten!). Sam, Stephen's partner, is our Girl Friday, you'll see her everywhere but rest assured there is only 1 of her. More often than not she'll be charging around on the lawn mower. She is also our qualified first aider. Ruth, Ulenah and Stephen's mum, is on hand to keep all things in shape and cause all of us unnecessary extra work. She'll be around the site keeping us on our toes and keeping the grounds in perfect order. You'll find us located on the outskirts of Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex, set amidst beautiful countryside with stunning views and brand new facilities. Cider house farm is owned and run by the Abbott family and is located in the picturesque village of Blackboys East Sussex. Set within 70 acres of parkland with outstanding views and nature trails the site has 33 large well spaced pitches for caravans and motorhomes, divided between two fields, the CL field and the main field. The CL field has 5 very large all grass pitches all with electric hook up. The Main field has 28 well spaced all grass pitches all with electric hook up. Hard standing is available if requested. Mains water and cess pool drainage. The village of Blackboys is in a great position with easy access to Sussex, surrey and Kent and the south coast. The nearby towns of uckfield, Lewes, Eastbourne and Tunbridge wells offer all amenities with a great deal of excellent restaurants, bars and pubs. The Blackboys inn is walking distance and is second to none. The site is very quiet and relaxed and is a place for adults only. It is a wildlife and walkers paradise. Bay View Park is a Holiday Home, Touring and Camping Park, situated at the end of a private road on the beautiful Sussex coast, just yards from the beach with sweeping panoramic views of Pevensey Bay and its Sailing Club. We have been awarded 3 Pennants by the AA and the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation, reflecting our concern for wildlife in the area, and the local environment. At Bay View Park the choice is yours - Our six-acre site features a number of caravan holiday homes for rental together with 50 touring pitches for caravans, tents and motorhomes. All these pitches have 10 Amp electric hook-ups - although there are additional spaces without electricity available during high season. The Park's caravan holiday homes are all fully equipped with colour TV, fitted kitchen and shower room. Each is connected to mains electricity, with cooking and heating powered by Calor Gas. A duvet, pillow, sheets and covers are provided for all beds, so guests need only provide their own towels and tea towels. Bay View Park features a well-stocked shop which stocks newspapers, magazines, ice creams, toys, groceries, bread, dairy products, frozen goods plus caravan and camping spares. There is a central play area for children under 10, toilet and shower facilities, wash basins with free hot water, ample fresh water points, waste disposal, laundry (with washing machine, spin dryer and iron), payphone, security lighting and tourist information.
