Houghton Mill Caravan Site, Houghton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

The site, owned by The National Trust, is on the banks of the River Great Ouse with spectacular views across the river to the Trust's Houghton Mill, the last working watermill on this river. Milling demonstrations are held every Sunday during the season and visitors can purchase the flour. The site is situated on the fringe of the highly picturesque village of Houghton, with a wealth of timbered and thatched-roof cottages, pub and shops, and the whole surrounding area is a paradise for walkers, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. There is an abundance of footpaths and bridleways for walkers, horse riders and cyclists along and across the proliferation of waterways.
Important Information
Please do not arrive before 12 noon and latest arrival is 8pm. There are no hardstandings on this site. This site has no Motorvan waste point. Please note that all pitches on this site are grass.
