This beautiful lake has been awarded "Blue Flag" status, and its shallow, clean waters are very popular with swimmers and boaters. Boats are available for hire on the lake either for fishing, or just exploring the islands. Windsurfing and canoeing are also available on the lake. To keep the kids entertained our playground is well equipped with swings, slides, merry-go-round, climbing frame and more. The local towns of Mullingar and Tullamore are also full of a whole range of activities especially geared for children ... Cinemas, Kidz Activity Centres etc. Mullingar Championship Golf Club and Lilliput Par 3 Golf Course are only a short distance from the park.
