Ty-Gwyn Caravan Park is located on the West Coast of Wales overlooking Cardigan Bay, where dolphins and seals can regularly be found. Mwnt’s sandy beach is only five minutes by car, or a 10 minutes walk. There is a 14th century white washed church and plenty of footpaths along the coast and through the countryside. The view from the caravan park is superb, with beautiful sunsets. The caravan site is on a small farm, where you can see cattle and sheep. It is a family orientated caravan park, with toilet and shower facilities. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re kept under control. Nearby is the small market town of Cardigan, which has a cinema, leisure centre, swimming pool, pubs and restaurants and plenty of local shops and supermarkets. There are plenty of sandy beaches nearby in Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire – Poppit, Tresaith, New Quay, Penbryn to name just a few. Local attractions include a butterfly Centre, a Coastal Farm Park and a Wildlife Centre We cater for tents and caravans. It is advisable to book beforehand in the busy periods, especially if you would like an electric hook up. We also have a static caravan to rent, with prices ranging from £240 to £300, depending on the time of year. We are five miles west of Cardigan – take the B4333 out of Cardigan, and follow the signs for Mwnt. When you reach Mwnt, pass the beach, car park and the church until you reach the caravan park. We have 25 pitches available for tents, caravans or motorhomes and 12 static caravans are also available for hire. ‘Woodpecker’ (‘taradr y coed’ in Welsh) is a superb 6-berth caravan WITH SEA VIEWS at Treddafydd Farm caravan site on the beautiful West Wales coast. Treddafydd is a small site on a working dairy farm and offers a peaceful holiday overlooking the picturesque Hoffnant valley, one mile from the delightful Penbryn beach. Children are most welcome at Treddaffydd. There is plenty of room for play with a slide and swing on the field. Visitors are welcome to see the life on the farm. This part of the West Wales coast is rocky coastline with sandy bays, secret coves and rock pools, seals and dolphins. The nearest beach at Penbryn is considered one of the best, sandy and ideal for children with enchanting cliff walks to the ‘secret beach’ and on to Llangrannog. The local area has lovely high-banked lanes with wild flowers, walks and woodlands with many interesting things to do further afield. Tenby, the Preseli Hills, the Teifi valley, Aberystwyth and Devil’s Bridge, Cenarth Falls and many others are within easy reach of Treddafydd. Woodpecker has three bedrooms, one double and two with twin beds. It has a spacious dining / living area, kitchen and bathroom with toilet and shower. The caravan is fully equipped with full size fridge, gas cooker, gas heating, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. Gas and electricity is included. Treddaffydd has a toilet block with shower rooms and laundry room with coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer. One well-behaved pet is welcome at £15 extra per week but please note that dogs are not allowed on some beaches including Penbryn from 1st May to 30th September. We have 75 pitches for tourers, tents or motorhomes. There is a large, modern amenity block and children's play area. We have a public phone on the park and we have installed a Broadband hot spot, this will be available to campers only with their own wifi enabled laptops, tho we hope to be able to hire out a wireless enabling dongle - so just bring your laptop and log on. We will issue passes according to length of stay. Surrounding Aberystwyth is some of the most beautiful countryside in Wales, where access is easy, including Bwlch Nant yr Arian where there is a Visitor Centre and Red Kite feeding station. There are 2 scenic way marked walks, and an all ability lakeside walk, breathtaking views and the visitor centre and cafe is open 10am to 5pm, in winter it is open 10am till dusk, and it is accessible to wheelchair too. Further details of tourist destinations, and leaflets are available at the office, free of charge, directions and advice too. Clubs and bars can be noisy, we do not have either, but you have a vast selection available in Aberystwyth, and although there is not a shop, the site is very conveniently situated for the recently opened out of town shopping precinct together with a selection of village shops nearby. The town offers a vast range of other pastimes within easy reach including a Cinema, Tenpin Bowling, and large shopping centre. We are a small friendly site the Davies family have been running on their farm for the last 50 years. We are open all year round for your family holidays, short breaks or longer stays. Located half a mile west of the small town of Llandysul, accommodating 20 tourers and tents on a sunny meadow sloping down to the river, where we are proud of the 'on site' game fishing. All pitches have electric hookups and we have recently extended our facilities to include hot and cold showers. We have a number of spacious sited caravans of our own which are available for hire. These have hot and cold water, mains electricity and drainage - a real 'home-from-home' for your stay with us. Cei Bach (Little Quay) is one and a half miles north of the fishing village of new Quay with its resident family of dolphins, just off the A487 coast road. The park overlooks Cei Bach Bay with a pathway from the edge of the park leading to the attractive safe sheltered sandy beach. (Green Flag Award.) The setting is delightful with views along the coastline to Aberaeron and beyond with a coastal path starting just across the road from the park, passing over a waterfall and old Celtic Settlement. The university town of Aberystwyth is some 23 miles to the north with its old Castle, cliff railway and pier with amusements.
