Brongwyn is a small, select, family run park, situated in peaceful, unspoilt corner of West Wales with wonderful views across acres of gently rolling countryside, a relaxing haven with its woodland walk, hidden lake and wildlife. Ty-Gwyn Caravan Park is located on the West Coast of Wales overlooking Cardigan Bay, where dolphins and seals can regularly be found. Mwnt’s sandy beach is only five minutes by car, or a 10 minutes walk. There is a 14th century white washed church and plenty of footpaths along the coast and through the countryside. The view from the caravan park is superb, with beautiful sunsets. The caravan site is on a small farm, where you can see cattle and sheep. It is a family orientated caravan park, with toilet and shower facilities. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re kept under control. Nearby is the small market town of Cardigan, which has a cinema, leisure centre, swimming pool, pubs and restaurants and plenty of local shops and supermarkets. There are plenty of sandy beaches nearby in Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire – Poppit, Tresaith, New Quay, Penbryn to name just a few. Local attractions include a butterfly Centre, a Coastal Farm Park and a Wildlife Centre We cater for tents and caravans. It is advisable to book beforehand in the busy periods, especially if you would like an electric hook up. We also have a static caravan to rent, with prices ranging from £240 to £300, depending on the time of year. We are five miles west of Cardigan – take the B4333 out of Cardigan, and follow the signs for Mwnt. When you reach Mwnt, pass the beach, car park and the church until you reach the caravan park. The larger towns of Aberystwyth to the north and Cardigan to the south are well known for their shops. Local activities include sea, Trout and Sewin and coarse fishing, horse riding, sailing and boating, cycling, golf, tennis and walking. Cei Bach (Little Quay) is one and a half miles north of the fishing village of new Quay with its resident family of dolphins, just off the A487 coast road. The park overlooks Cei Bach Bay with a pathway from the edge of the park leading to the attractive safe sheltered sandy beach. (Green Flag Award.) The setting is delightful with views along the coastline to Aberaeron and beyond with a coastal path starting just across the road from the park, passing over a waterfall and old Celtic Settlement. There are numerous attractions within the area including boat trips from New Quay to see the dolphins and wildlife, course and beach fishing, Go-karting, horse riding, tennis golf etc. Brochures are available from reception. The university town of Aberystwyth is some 23 miles to the north with its old Castle, cliff railway and pier with amusements. The market town of Cardigan is some 18 miles south with its bustling shops and busy estuary. The harbour town of Aberaeron is only 6 miles north with its quaint coloured houses, famous honey ice cream shop, craft centre and scenic river walk. For the perfect caravan and camping holiday in Wales, Morfa Farm Caravan Park is the place to go. The family run caravan site is situated directly on the foreshore. The gently sloping beach is just a short step from the site and the general contour and placid waters ensure safe bathing for all. The rock pools contain a myriad of marine life, a real delight for old and young alike. The stunning surrounding countryside is a real treat for those who enjoy walking and exploring. At Morfa Caravan Park we offer a small selection of luxury static caravans for hire. Each caravan is a six berth and fully equipped electrically, with colour t.v, shower and toilet, microwave, fridge, cooker, crockery and cooking utensils, blankets, etc. Located on the lower field and at the back of main field, the touring caravans are well catered for. Apart from the standard amenities such as toilet, free shower etc. there are electric outlets for those who require them. Pleasantly situated on the lower field, the camping area is a delight for all campers. Adjoining the campsite is the river Wyre which leads to the open sea. The beach and rock pools are a mere stones throw away and for those who love tennis there is a court located to the rear. Situated on the Cardigan Bay Coast, a wealth of water activities are available. Apart from the excellent sea fishing we also hold rights for three quarters of a mile on the river Wyre, just sixty yards away so the angler is well catered for.
