
Brook Lodge situated in the historic hamlet of Cowslip Green the home of Hannah More, dates from the 1730´s. The stream winds its way along four acres of grass park, sheltered by mature native trees,with an abundance of flowers and wildlife.
Brook Lodge is constantly reviewing & implimenting new ways to improve the environment of the park in all aspects. To protect and increase the flora & fauna that we are lucky enough to have here, for example construction of wildlife corridor 2002, bat boxs, new pond & tree conservation area, recycling point,e.t.c., thus improving this environment for visitors from all around the world.
Brook Lodge is ideally situated as a touring centre with easy access off the A38 for the historic maritime city of Bristol, the famous World Heritage city of Bath, Wells, Glastonbury & the Mendip Hills.

Facilities on park : All our facilties on the park are exceeding 3 star standard which are inspected by the English Tourism Council and the A.A.

Activities nearby : There is a network of country lanes & footpaths in our area. Bladgon Lake is a 2 miles from our park, this is an extensive lake established in the 1800's has fishing, a visitor centre, an excellent place to take a stroll, have a picnic or just observe the abundant wildlife. Horse riding, rock climbing, dry ski slope 3 miles. Pot holing 2 miles. Burrington Combe 2miles (Rock of Ages). Mendip Hills- Roman history + much more. Golf 4 miles. The historic maritime City of Bristol 8 miles. Coast 12 miles with the 2nd oldest pier in the world from there paddle steamer trips on the Bristol Channal to various locations.
