Set in a unique location with stunning scenery on the west coast of Scotland. Located midway between Tarbert and Campbeltown - Argyll. We concentrate on scenery and wildlife - a get away from it all location. Muasdale Touring Park beside the beach, with stunning sea views on the west coast of Scotland. Situated mid way between Campbeltown and Tarbert - Argyll. Tents: Pitches are approx 28ft (8.5m) wide, there has to be approx 20ft (6m) space between tents. Tents over approx 12ft (3.5m) wide will need 2 pitches to accommodate fire, and privacy regulations. Tents should have strong poles as they may not stand up to the gusty winds we get occasionally. Dogs: Well behaved dogs are most welcome, please keep on a lead at all times whilst on the park. From Spring to early July please ensure you walk them along the tide line, to allow wading birds to nest undisturbed. Small Touring Park: An almost level grass field with direct access to the beach, offering unobstructed views of the Atlantic and the isles of Gigha Islay and Jura with glorious sunsets weather permitting. Pitches: Have electric hook-up if required. 10 x seaside pitches for use by Tourer, Motorhome or Tent. For holidays during July and August - the balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. Last minute bookings in July and August - full payment required when booking. Self Catering Caravan Holiday Homes are available for hire from Easter to Mid October each year. The new owners, Anne, Dick, June and Trevor, welcome you to Achindarroch Touring Park, near Fort William and Oban. This friendly, family run site lies in a quiet, picturesque location at the foot of Glen Duror. The park is well sheltered and is a real sun trap in the summer months. This caravan site near Fort William welcomes Motorhomes, Caravans, Trailer tents and tents. Dogs are also welcome. The shower block, toilets, laundry and ‘campers’ kitchen are undergoing extensive refurbishment over the next few months and will include full disabled facilities, baby changing facilities, shaver points and hair dryers. Currently the Park is licensed for 40 touring pitches, of which 37 have electrical hook-ups. The campsite provides an ideal base for local attractions such as the Nevis Range, Glen Coe, the Jacobite Steam Train (as seen in the Harry Potter films), the Cave of Sculls (which is the deepest cave in Scotland) and Cuil Bay. For those of you who enjoy light exercise, there are many varied walks up and around the Glen, which are adjacent to the park. For the more adventurous, the area, which is known as the outdoor capital of the UK, has many outdoor pursuit activities which include Walking, Climbing, Sailing, Diving, Mountain Biking and Canoeing.
