Set in a unique location with stunning scenery on the west coast of Scotland. Located midway between Tarbert and Campbeltown - Argyll. We concentrate on scenery and wildlife - a get away from it all location. Muasdale Touring Park beside the beach, with stunning sea views on the west coast of Scotland. Situated mid way between Campbeltown and Tarbert - Argyll. Tents: Pitches are approx 28ft (8.5m) wide, there has to be approx 20ft (6m) space between tents. Tents over approx 12ft (3.5m) wide will need 2 pitches to accommodate fire, and privacy regulations. Tents should have strong poles as they may not stand up to the gusty winds we get occasionally. Dogs: Well behaved dogs are most welcome, please keep on a lead at all times whilst on the park. From Spring to early July please ensure you walk them along the tide line, to allow wading birds to nest undisturbed. Small Touring Park: An almost level grass field with direct access to the beach, offering unobstructed views of the Atlantic and the isles of Gigha Islay and Jura with glorious sunsets weather permitting. Pitches: Have electric hook-up if required. 10 x seaside pitches for use by Tourer, Motorhome or Tent. For holidays during July and August - the balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. Last minute bookings in July and August - full payment required when booking. Self Catering Caravan Holiday Homes are available for hire from Easter to Mid October each year. Muasdale Holiday Apartments - available all year - ideal for those off season breaks. Pets are allowed in some Caravan Holiday Homes, regret not in the holiday apartments.

This friendly, family run site lies in a quiet, picturesque location at the foot of Glen Duror. The park is well sheltered and is a real sun trap in the summer months. New for 2011 – Camping Pods. These are essentially wooden tents and are designed for ‘Camping for the 21st century’. All you need to do is bring your sleeping bags, food, tea and coffee etc. Blow up mattresses, chairs, plates, cutlery, mugs, stove, cooking utensils and a table are provided. There is also light and heaters in the Pods and they are well insulated. And finally, no wet tents to take down at the end of the trip! What more could you ask? Our site welcomes Motor homes, Caravans, Trailer tents, Tents and even American sized RV's. Dogs are also welcome. The shower block incorporates Waterless urinals, automatic lighting, self closing taps, central heating and insect mesh screens in the double glazed window units. There are shaver points in the gents and hair dryers in the ladies. The ‘campers’ kitchen includes sinks for food prep and dishes, a sink for hand washing clothes, washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave and a small reading library where you can exchange your books. The disabled toilet also includes baby changing facilities. The Park is licensed for 40 touring pitches (big pitch sizes), of which 37 have electrical hook-ups, and provides an ideal base for local attractions such as the Nevis Range, Glen Coe, the Jacobite Steam Train (as seen in the Harry Potter films), the Cave of Sculls (which is the deepest cave in Scotland) and Cuil Bay. For those of you who enjoy light exercise, there are many varied walks up and around the Glen, which are adjacent to the park. For the more adventurous, the area, which is known as the outdoor capital of the UK, has many outdoor pursuit activities which include Walking, Climbing, Sailing, Diving, Mountain Biking and Canoeing. Port Ban is a peaceful haven for those who want to get away from it all. The sheer beauty of the area and the rich diversity of wildflowers & wildlife never cease to amaze both our new and regular visitors alike. The park has half a mile of completely unspoiled coastline with quiet sandy beaches. Safe bathing is within easy walking distance. Situated on the beautiful and secluded coastal road (B8024) between Tarbert and Lochgilphead, Port Ban boasts perhaps the most spectacular setting on the West Coast. It sits on the West Coast of the Knapdale/Kintyre peninsula, an area largely bypassed by the bulk of tourists who follow the main route north to Oban. Unique for Caravan Parks the vans are widely spaced, each offering a panoramic view of the Islands of Jura & Islay. If you fancy something more active there's plenty to try out in the area including horse riding, ice wall climbing, skiing,canoeing. For the kids theres the Harry Potter train, 2 play areas and a toddlers play room, not to mention the beach. Day trips with the kids could include the silver sands of Morar, seal rescue centre or boat trip, the cable car at Nevis Range, the soft play at the Nevis Centre the Crofting activity centre and wildlife park at Kincraig or the Forest Theme Park at Landmark or go Karting. The only problem is which to try first! TOURING PITCHES With a 10A EEC connection all are individually marked, level, approximately 9m wide and have gravel hard standing. Steel pegs will be required for awnings. Awnings should not be used as sleeping accommodation. CAMPING PITCHES 1 -4 person tents up to 2.5 x 4 m only as we have fairly small camping areas. Cars are parked nearby, not on the grass. We regret that electric hook-ups are not available . Excellent heated washing facilities, private cubicles and a choice of either showers (with unlimited free hot water) or baths. Dish washing room and new waste dump point for motorcaravans.
