Loch Lomond Caravans is situated within the beautifully landscaped 13 acres of Loch Lomond Holiday Park at Inveruglas. The lochside location along with a children's play area, mature woodland, fresh water fishing and BBQ combined with a sandy beach and a jetty for boating enthusiasts, provides all that the holidaymaker could wish for to make the perfect holiday. A modern amenity building with facilities for the disabled, satellite television, pool table, a fully stocked shop plus a well equipped laundry is also close to hand. A range of fully equipped Scottish Tourist Board award-winning caravan accommodation is available to suit all holidaymakers as well as multi-serviced touring pitches in a prime location for those bringing their own tourer. Touring Pitches : At Loch Lomond Holiday Park we have 18 touring pitches, all of which enjoy superb views across the loch and surrounding hills. There is a choice of standard touring pitches available. Standard touring pitches have an optional television aerial connection. The Multi-serviced pitches are in a prime location and have direct water, waste services and television aerial connection included in the nightly charge. Electricity (15 amp) is optional and is available on all touring pitches. Our touring pitches have all weather gravel surfacing. Television aerial leads are available from reception (deposit required). If you do not have your own water and waste connections, these can be purchased from the Park shop. Advance bookings are recommended for Easter and from May through to September. Bookings are only accepted for a minimum of three nights. Bookings of seven nights or more enjoy a 10% discount. Please enquire for special rates for bookings of four weeks or more. Caravan Homes : All of our Caravan Holiday Homes are constructed by the leading British caravan manufacturers to our own specifications. Our hire fleet is renewed on a regular basis and therefore offers the latest in style and comfort for the visitor. All Caravan Holiday Homes are graded by the Scottish Tourist Board "Thistle Commendation" scheme. All caravans, which are capable of accommodating a maximum of 6 people, have a fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area and bathroom (with shower). The sleeping accommodation consists of one double and one twin bedroom with a further double fold away bed in the lounge area. Electric heating is in most rooms, giving you extra comfort during the cooler months. Colour T.V. is also provided. The level of equipment in the kitchen is more that sufficient to meet the needs of your holiday. A microwave oven and a video recorder are optional extras (subject to availability). Non smoking and/or pet free Holiday Homes are available on request. All of our holiday homes are located approximately 100 metres from the shoreline, all with view of the hills and loch. The Area : Loch Lomond is the largest expanse of fresh water in the British Isles. It encompasses a beguiling mix of islands, some inhabited others densely wooded, but all ideal for exploring. Paths and trails, including the West Highland Way, offer unparalleled beauty for the lover of the outdoors. The rich woodland is home to many rare species of birds, deer and wild flowers. Touring around the loch, you will come across small villages to wander through. Luss village is amongst them, brought to fame by the television series 'Take the High Road'. If you would like to explore the loch from the water, loch cruises are available from nearby Tarbet and also from Balloch at the southern end of the loch. Port Ban is a peaceful haven for those who want to get away from it all. The sheer beauty of the area and the rich diversity of wildflowers & wildlife never cease to amaze both our new and regular visitors alike. The park has half a mile of completely unspoiled coastline with quiet sandy beaches. Safe bathing is within easy walking distance. The park has a lovely tranquil atmosphere and parents can relax comfortably whilst the children enjoy the freedom and space which is Port Ban. Situated on the beautiful and secluded coastal road (B8024) between Tarbert and Lochgilphead, Port Ban boasts perhaps the most spectacular setting on the West Coast. It sits on the West Coast of the Knapdale/Kintyre peninsula, an area largely bypassed by the bulk of tourists who follow the main route north to Oban. Unique for Caravan Parks the vans are widely spaced, each offering a panoramic view of the Islands of Jura & Islay. Sports facilities on site include a large play area suitable for football and other sports, tennis court, games hall with table tennis and pool, putting green, and mountain bikes for hire. For a special holiday where you can relax and unwind, Resipole is just the place to enjoy the peace, the silence and the stunning views. On the Ardnamurchan peninsula, in the Scottish Highlands our comfortable accommodation will ease away the stresses of modern living. Take a walk through the ancient Sunart Oakwoods which have been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. This is one of the few areas where the Ancient Caledonian Oak Forest still remain. Climb the hills out to the summit of Beinn Resipol (a Corbett, 845m), enjoy the spectacular views out to Skye, the Inner and Outer Hebrides and over to Ben Nevis. There are many opportunities to fish, explore the sandy beaches and ancient ruined castles, and breath in wonderfully unpolluted air. Otters, seals, red deer, pine martens, eagles, they are all here, right on the farm. Take a boat and discover the coastline of Loch Sunart with the many types of wildlife to be found there. Resipole, being centrally positioned, is ideally placed for exploring this wonderful, rugged and remote peninsula. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, wash hand basin and room heater. The kitchen is equipped with a full size cooker and fridge. There is a TV and video player in the lounge. Cooking is by gas and there is a power point in each room. For extra comfort, especially during early Spring and Autumn, there are electric heaters in both bedrooms, and in the bathroom, and the caravan is fully double glazed. There are three caravans are situated in a peaceful glen 300 yards behind the farmhouse with wonderful views of Ben Resipole. There is generous spacing between each caravan and cars can be parked at the door. These models are no more than three years old and exceed the standard required by the S.T.B. Thistle Award Scheme. Bed linen is provided, pets are allowed on the understanding they are not left unattended in the caravan. Boating : For visitors with their own boat keen to explore Loch Sunart there is a private slipway at Resipole. This facility is free to guests staying at Resipole, either in the self catering accommodation or on the touring park. Fishing on Loch Sunart, from your boat, will provide you with a variety of catches. Rates : Touring £11-£13. Statics £260-£330 per week.
