Our Atlas Festival Super Caravan is situated within a walled garden on our family farm on the edge of Arbroath. The site is well fenced and is a very quiet and private spot for a relaxing holiday. It has its own driveway and garden with rotary drier and patio furniture. There is also a garden shed for storing cycles etc. The caravan is fully equipped for 4 people. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. All bed linen and towels are provided. There is a large lounge, a well equipped kitchen and a dining area. These are heated with electric heaters. Electricity and gas are included in the price. Bookings are normally Sunday to Sunday but other arrangements can be made. Weekends and mid week breaks can also be organised. The caravan is under our personal supervision and care will be taken to ensure that it is cleaned and maintained to a high standard before your arrival. It is in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, post office etc and is also well placed for walks along the famous Arbroath cliffs. It is an ideal base for golfing, touring, walking, sightseeing, shopping or just for relaxing. The holiday resort of Arbroath is famous for its Abbey, its spectacular cliffs and, of course, its delivious "smokies"-haddock smoked in smokehouses around the harbour. Great days out can be enjoyed by visiting Glamis Castle, the beautiful Angus Glens, House of Sun at Montrose, Barries birthplace at Kirriemuir, Captain Scott's ship The Discovery at Dundee and many other interesting places. A spacious park with a happy, relaxed atmosphere. There are both grass pitches and hardstandings, and a large rally / camping field. To add to the back-to-nature feel of this area, there's a colony of wild rabbits - a pleasure to watch morning and evening. A converted, circular horsemill houses 'the Mill' licensed restaurant. It serves a wide range of food throughout the day - breakfasts, home-made cakes, snacks, main meals, and high teas - something for everyone! Adjoining the park is a Garden Centre and specialist camellia nursery - yes camellias grown in Scotland! In March / April the 'Floradome' is full of flowering camellias. Its not a big Garden Centre but you'll find lots of beautiful plants selected from some of the best nurseries in Scotland and elsewhere. John van Delft has over 40 years experience in growing plants and running Garden Centres - if you have a problem, or you just want some growing tips, he's your man!
